Academic Quiz Bowl

Academic bowl for, 5th-9th grade students, is a question-and-answer competition between two teams of four players each. A game consists of four quarters: two 20-question tossup quarters (1st and 3rd quarters) and two 10-question 60-second quarters (2nd and 4th). Games may be scrimmages or conference games (neither of which is controlled by OJABA), or they may be part of district (held in January), regional (held in February), and state (held in March) tournaments (which are controlled by OJABA).
